The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office's Crime Scene and Evidence unit is on call twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. They are responsible for the documentation and collection of forensic evidence at scenes, maintaining and disposal of all evidience seized or found property collected by the Sheriff's Office.
CSI conducts in house forensic testing for evidence and utilizes the services of the NC SBI's Crime Laboratory when needed.
